Jeremy Clarkson from BBC Top Gear hates hybrids and electric cars

jeremy clarksonJeremy is famed for his views on cars but he’s now being outspoken when it comes to hybrids and electrics. On his latest review of the ford focus Clarkson rails against hybrids and electric cars for their lack of practicality in getting from A to B or rather much further like several hundred miles.

This is not a great example for one of the worlds most well known motoring journalists. Clarkson should really get out and understand more about the electric cars on offer such as the new Electric Tesla range or the Fisker Karma. These cars have massive mileage ranges and fabulous acceleration. Battery technology is improving all the time on these cars.

Clarkson must understand that electric cars are catching up and should not be assumed to be a finished product. Sadly the internal combustion engine has over 100 years development more than the electric motor and battery technology.
